"Giving a child a gift that will last a lifetime," Steppin Out Charm & Imaging Studio, located in Columbia, MD is owned and operated by Henryette Neal. Established in 2000, Steppin Out hosts a six-week program for girls and boys ages 8 -18 years. The program focuses on everything from building Self-Esteem, Building Confidence, Dining and Social Skills and much more. The program is designed to provide them with skills that they can carry throughout their lives.
Steppin Out Charm & Imaging Studio also offers programs for adults.
Henryette has an extensive background in advertising, communications and graphic design. Her advertising experience has expanded over 25 years. She has worked for several large advertising agencies in the positions of Account Executive, Vice President of Creative Services and Budgeting. In her last position she was the Advertising Director for a large distributing company.
Prior to starting Steppin Out Charm & Imaging Studio she has been involved in various other business ventures. Henryette was a partner in Terry, Mangum, Neal Advertising Agency and has operated a Mary Kay business for 14 years and during that time she was an Independent Sales Director.
Henryette was educated at the Baltimore Community College and the College of Notre Dame. She has been extensively trained and licensed to teach comprehensive elite image and etiquette program of the Robin Thompson Charm School. She is a licensed makeup artist and has done modeling with Flair Modeling Studio Sophisticated Ladies.
As Instructor of Steppin Out Charm & Imaging Studio she has worked with such groups as the AKA Precious Pearls Mentoring Group, Theta Omega Omega Charities, Inc., SouthEast Academy of Scholastic Excellence, Girl Scouts, Girl Power and various church groups. She is contracted with the Fairfax Virginia Department of Parks & Recreation to teach her etiquette program which are held at various school. She also has worked with several private youth and adult students.
Mrs. Neal is very active in her church and community. In her church she was part of the mentoring program for the Girl Power Group, a member of the Missionary Society and other groups. In her community she is involved in programs that focus on youth such as the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education Speakers Bureau …Achievements Counts Program”, Charter Member of the Professional Black Women, and the Continental Societies, Inc. She is also very active with The American Cancer Society Reach to Recovery Program, and the Howard County Hospital Volunteer Board.
Henryette has been married to her husband Jim for 30 years.
